Детские стихи на английском про дождь, ливень, грозу и дождевые капли :

R.L. Stevenson

The rain is falling all around,
It falls on field and tree,
It rains on the umbrellas here,
And on the ships at sea.

Rain on the green grass.
Rain on the tree.
Rain on the house top,
But not upon me!

Rain rain go away,
Come again another day.
Little Johnny wants to play;
Rain, rain, go to Spain,
Never show your face again!

When the rain is splashing down
On the fields and on the town
Singing winds begin to blow
And the flowers start to grow.

It Rained

It rained on Bill,
It rained on Will,
It rained on Isabella,
But it didn't rain on ________,
He/She had a huge umbrella.

It rains on the duck, cow, and horse.
It rains on the trees and leaves, of course!
It rains on a little girl and fella.
But I'm not wet. I have an umbrella!

When clouds appear
Like rocks and towers,
The earth's refreshed
By frequent showers

A sunshiny shower
Won’t last half an hour.

Thunder

(to the tune of Frere Jacques)
I hear thunder, I hear thunder,
Hark, don't you? Hark, don't you?
Pitter patter raindrops, pitter patter raindrops,
I'm wet through.
So are you.

Raindrops are falling from the sky
How did they ever get so high
Raindrops are falling {3}
From the sky.
Raindrops are twinkling on my nose
Raindrops are falling on the trees
Raindrops are falling {3}
From the sky.

Raindrops

Raindrops are such funny things.
They haven't feet or haven't wings.
Yet they sail throughout he air
With the greatest of ease,
And dance on the street
Wherever they please.

Alan Benjamin

Let's Count the Raindrops

Let's count the raindrops
as they pour:
one million, two million,
three million, four.

Thunder crashes.
Lightening flashes.
Rain makes puddles,
I make splashes.

Raindrops

Raindrops, raindrops,
Falling all around,
Pitter-patter on the rooftops,
Pitter-patter on the ground.
Here is my umbrella,
It will keep me dry,
When I go walking in the rain,
I hold it up so high.

"Splash," said a raindrop
As it fell upon my hat;
"Splash said another
As it trickled down my back.
"You are very rude," I said
As I looked up to the sky;
Then another raindrop splashed
Right into my eye!

M. Chute Spring rain

The storm came up so very quick
It couldn't have been quicker.
I should have brought my hat along,
I should have brought my slicker.
My hair is wet, my feet are wet,
I couldn't be much wetter.
I fell into a river once
But this is even better.

It's raining hard,
And people say,
"It's raining cats
And dogs today."
It's raining cats.
"Meow, meow."
It's raining puppy dogs.
"Bow-wow."

Pitter-patter, raindrops,
Falling from the sky;
Here is my umbrella
To keep me safe and dry!
When the rain is over,
And the sun begins to glow,
Little flowers start to bud,
And grow and grow and grow!

H. H. Moore

Rain drops drip down
all day long.
drip down, slip down,
splashing out their song.
thunder-crashing
splishing splashing,
slipping, dripping,
raining down
their rainy raindrop song.

J. Prelutsky

It’s raining pigs and noodles,
It’s pouring frogs and hats,
Chrysanthemums and poodles,
Bananas, brooms and hats,
Assorted prunes and parrots
Are dropping from the sky,
Here comes a branch of carrots,
Some hippopotami.
It’s raining pens and pickles,
And eggs and silverware.
A flood of figs and nickels
Is falling through the air.
I see a swan, a sweater,
A clock a model train-
I like this  so much better,
Then when it’s raining rain.

M. Goldish

It is gonna' rain some more, some more,
It is gonna' rain some more!
When drops of water start to pour,
It is gonna' rain some more, some more!
Why do drops of water pour?
Drops of water pour?
The clouds can't hold them anymore,
That's why drops of water pour!
It is gonna' rain some more, some more,
It is gonna' rain some more!
When drops of water start to pour,
It is gonna' rain some more, some more!

Жестовая игра про дождик на английском:

When the rain comes down drip drop drip drop,
(перебирать перед собой пальцами, изображаю дождь)
Windshield wipers flip flop flip flop,
(махать руками туда сюда)
Boots in puddles plip plop plip plop,
(топать ногами как по лужам)
I wish the rain would never stop.
Drip drop drip,
Flip flop flip,
Plip plop plip plop,
PLOP! (прыгнуть)

The rain comes down,     (перебирать пальцами изображая дождик)
And under my feet       (показать на ноги )
Are trees and clouds
All over the street.
I splash through the clouds,  (топнуть ногой)
And I climb through trees.   (make climbing motions)
I feel like a giant         (поднять руку повыше)
With boots to my knees.    (pull up boots)
